We Make It Rain
logo design
We Make It Rain was a new ad agency by an experienced entrepreneur built on the idea of closer and more efficient collaboration between the agency team and their clients. They needed a professional visual identity, particularly a versatile logo design, that would signal the confidence and experience of the team even in their new endeavor.

Process
Going off the nature of the company name and core value proposition, I knew I needed a balanced approach. On one hand, it’d be cool to subtly nod at the money-making idea of "making it rain." But you cannot be too literal or gimmicky — dollar signs and weather channel icons would undermine the professionalism they needed to communicate.
I discovered a more tasteful way in an abstract geometric icon in a distinct dollar bill green color. The stacked diagonal stripes connect rain and dollars in a neat, indirect way. The icon also echoes the ‘W’ initial of the brand name, tying it even closer to the identity.
