When they approached me for branding, they wanted a distinctive and impactful visual identity — one that captured their irreverent spirit and helped them stand apart from templatized competitors.

When they approached me for branding, they wanted a distinctive and impactful visual identity — one that captured their irreverent spirit and helped them stand apart from templatized competitors.

Creative Flywheel is an elite advertising agency looking to shake up their industry with their bold and effective approach. When they approached me for branding, they wanted a distinctive and impactful visual identity — one that captured their irreverent spirit and helped them stand apart from templatized competitors.

Process

From the start, I was inspired by Creative Flywheel's desire to be audacious in an overcrowded market. They needed a look that would project absolute confidence in their ability to deliver stunning results. I leaned into vibrant colors, quirky stickers, and a deliberate lack of strict uniformity across elements. When the industry gets filled up with newcomers using clean cookie-cutter templates, we want to be different. Dramatically different. But still sleek and professional.

The project allowed me to go wild, experiment and really push some boundaries. Which was a lot of fun. Usually I put as many constraints as possible on the creative process. But here I channeled this free spirit to infuse the brand with a lot of personality through funky icons, stickers, and graphics.

The logo ties the whole thing together. A dynamic ‘C’ lettermark spins in a perpetual motion of a flywheel and captures the dynamic and creative energy of the brand.
